Wolves win on Military Appreciation Night — High School Football Roundup

Lincolnton 14, East Gaston 3

The Wolves (2-2) got touchdown runs of one yard by Amontre Finger and nine yards from Tiaje Ross to even their season record.  The Warriors (0-3) only points came on a 35-yard field goal by Carter Beck as time expired in the first half. East Gaston will host East Lincoln this Friday, while Lincolnton has the week off.  

West Lincoln 41, Fred T. Foard 0

Canon Bridges scored on runs of seven and one yard and Xander Pendergrass had touchdown runs of three and four yards as the Rebels rolled to their third win in as many games. Chandler Carpenter had a 17-yard touchdown reception and Mason Huitt a 15-yard scoring run to round out the West Lincoln scoring.  The Rebels (3-0) travel to East Burke this Friday, while Foard (0-4) will be at St. Stephens.

East Lincoln 41, North Gaston 21

Justin Barnette threw for a touchdown and ran for another on the Mustangs first two drives to set the tone in Friday night’s win over the Wildcats in Denver.  East Lincoln, who led 35-0 at the half, rolled to their third straight non-conference victory of the season. The Mustangs (3-0) will travel to East Gaston this week, while North Gaston (1-3) has the week off.
