Mustang boys, girls top Knights

BOYS: East Lincoln 77, North Lincoln 51

The Mustangs led 44-31 at halftime and outscored the Knights 33-20 in the second half to take the win by a score of 77-51 in the South Fork 2A Conference game played Tuesday night in Pumpkin Center.

The Mustangs had three players in double figures led by senior Justin Kuthan’s 29 points, senior Myles Adams added 16 and sophomore Evan Montanari also had 16 for East Lincoln.

The Knights had two players in double figures led by sophomore Jack Waggoner’s 16 points, while senior Matthew Regan, had 13.

The Mustangs will be at home against South Iredell on Thursday, while the Knights will be at Maiden.
